WoW messaging and activities encourage healthy living to decrease health risks. The program is designed for men in this sector, where work is fast-paced and hands-on. WoW is based on WellnessFits (wellnessfits.ca), a program developed and run by the Canadian Cancer Society, BC & Yukon. The model was modified based upon feedback from health partners in work camp environments and employees in pilot sites across BC and the NWT. The result is a tailored set of materials with the tagline “Take Care of your Equipment”.
