	The primary goal of the BCIT Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Program is to equip students with the tools, resources, and technical skills they need for practicing effectively as OH&S generalists.
	British Columbia Institute of Technology: Occupational Health Nursing Program
	This program provides the specialized body of knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities to practice at a beginning level in a wide variety of organizations. It offers experienced Registered Nurses either an Advanced Specialty Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing after completing 33 credits.
	Cambrian College: Occupational Health & Safety Certificate
	This program helps to develop the appropriate knowledge and skills to assess the factors that affect the functions of workers and the workplace and to develop programs that will ensure a safe work environment. This program is intended for those people who are employed in a safety function, for those involved in occupational health and safety programming, and for members or future members of health and safety committees.
	Canada Research Chair in Occupational Health and Well-Being
	The Government of Canada created a new permanent program to establish 2000 research professorships titled Canada Research Chairs. Canadian universities both nominate Canada Research Chairs and administer their funds. Each eligible degree-granting institution receives an allocation of Chairs. For each Chair, a university nominates a researcher whose work complements its strategic research plan and who meets the program's high standards.

	Chair in Corporate Occupational Health and Safety Management (CGSST)

The Chair is also a training centre for students at the undergraduate and graduate levels and post-doctoral fellows.
	CN Centre for Occupational Health and Safety
	The CN Centre for Occupational Health and Safety was created in 2002 as a centre of excellence within Saint Mary’s University. 	Concordia University College of Alberta: Bachelor of Environmental Health

	University of Saskatchewan Toxicology Centre
	Research and teaching in toxicology at the University of Saskatchewan is spearheaded and coordinated by the Toxicology Centre, with substantial participation from members of the University's Toxicology Group. Launched in the fall of 2002, the Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Program in Toxicology has been extremely well received. This is the only program of its kind in Western Canada and the most comprehensive undergraduate program in Canada.
	University of Toronto: Pharmacology and Toxicology Programs

	Centre d'Action en Prévention et Réadaptation de l'incapacité au Travail (CAPRIT)
	Les programmes DES PRATIQUES DE LA RÉADAPTATION ont été créés en 2000, en réponse aux besoins de perfectionnement exprimés par les professionnels de la réadaptation. 	Le Certificat en santé et sécurité du travail (SST) vous prépare à assumer adéquatement les activités de base en matière de SST dans les entreprises : la surveillance du milieu, le traitement des cas d’indemnisation et, surtout, la prévention des lésions professionnelles. Nettement plus avancés, certains cours vous préparent à gérer efficacement des dossiers majeurs en vue de limiter les coûts financiers, d’évaluer les pratiques de gestion, d’améliorer les conduites humaines, de former le personnel et de prendre le leadership du changement qui s’impose en SST.
	Université de Sherbrooke: Certificat en sécurité et hygiène au travail
	Permettre à l'étudiante ou à l'étudiant: d'acquérir les connaissances multidisciplinaires de base de même que les habiletés nécessaires à une intervention efficace en santé et sécurité du travail; d'acquérir, dans le premier module, des connaissances relatives à la législation, l'hygiène du travail, l'ergonomie, les relations de travail, les procédés industriels et la sécurité du travail; d'acquérir, dans le second module, les habiletés nécessaires à l'identification des principaux agents agresseurs et des risques à la sécurité du travail et à la gestion des outils et techniques de prévention appropriés.
	Université du Québec à Montréal: Diplôme d'études supérieures spécialisées Intervention ergonomique en santé et sécurité du travail
	Le programme vise à former des diplômés universitaires à la pratique professionnelle de l'ergonomie. Il permet l'accession au titre d'ergonome certifié que délivre l'Association Canadienne d'ergonomie. Ce type de programme se situe au deuxième cycle et se compose de 30 crédits. On peut le suivre à temps complet (un an) ou à temps partiel (maximum 5 ans). Les DESS visent une formation professionnelle.
	Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières: Certificat en santé et sécurité au travail
	Le programme vise à former des intervenants en milieu de travail aptes à identifier, à évaluer et à prévenir les différents risques pour la santé et la sécurité du travailleur dans l'exécution de sa tâche. L'étudiant acquerra des connaissances de base concernant la législation, l'ergonomie, les différents agresseurs physiques, chimiques et psychologiques, les opérations et procédés industriels. L'étudiant apprendra également à évaluer le niveau de présence et les effets des différents agresseurs physiques, chimiques et psychologiques du milieu de travail sur l'être humain suivant les méthodes établies. Il devra aussi devenir apte à identifier les facteurs potentiels d'accident et à déterminer les moyens de prévention; l'étudiant apprendra, de plus, à participer à l'implantation, à l'évaluation et à la gestion d'un programme de prévention des accidents industriels et des maladies professionnelles.
	Université du Québec en Abitibi-Temiscamingue: Certificat en santé et sécurité au travail
	Ce programme s'adresse aux personnes intéressées par la santé et la sécurité au travail et à celles qui sont déjà impliquées dans le milieu. Il veut fournir aux étudiants l'occasion de se perfectionner dans ce domaine afin d'acquérir des connaissances de base en santé au travail, de développer une approche préventive de la santé et sécurité au travail et de développer des attitudes et des habiletés d'intervention permettant la prise en charge individuelle et collective pour l'élimination des risques inhérents au milieu de travail.
	Université du Québec en Outaouais: Certificat en santé et sécurité au travail
	Ce programme vise à initier l'étudiante et l'étudiant à la problématique de la santé et de la sécurité au travail en privilégiant une approche multidisciplinaire, la concertation des principaux intervenants et la prise en charge de leur santé et sécurité par les participants du milieu de travail. Le programme développe trois volets complémentaires qui sont d'égale importance dans la compréhension des problèmes de santé et sécurité au travail : soit la connaissance des principaux problèmes de santé et sécurité au travail et la recherche de solutions visant à leur résolution, soit la connaissance du contexte institutionnel et sociopolitique dans lequel s'insèrent ces problèmes, et finalement, la connaissance des moyens d'intervention.
	Université Laval: Prévention et gestion de la santé et de la sécurité du travail
	Ce programme forme des personnes capables de concevoir, d'organiser, de coordonner et de gérer les activités requises pour assurer la prévention en matière de santé et de sécurité du travail. Le développement et l'acquisition des aptitudes nécessaires pour déceler, analyser et résoudre les problèmes en situation de partenariat font partie des compétences maîtrisées par les diplômés. Il en va de même pour l'habileté à animer les milieux de travail dans le domaine de la prévention. Les diplômés seront à même de diriger des activités de prévention et de gestion de la santé et de la sécurité du travail dans les organisations et pourront à ce titre, coordonner le travail de personnes ayant des formations et des rôles divers.
